If the French brand Babolat is particularly known for its rackets and its strings, it also makes tennis shoes for all types of players, of all sizes and for all types of surfaces. Official partner of the Wimbledon tournament, the Babolat brand is developing several ranges to provide each player with a shoe that suits their experience and practice of tennis:
- The Jet Mach range offers a compendium of technologies to provide lightweight, comfortable shoes with good support.
- The Jet Tere range offers lightness and comfort for intermediate to advanced players;
The technologies used on Babolat women's tennis shoes
Babolat is a brand focused on innovation which develops technologies to improve its equipment, you will therefore be able to find different systems and technologies allowing to improve the support, comfort, stability, breathability or even resistance to wear of the tennis shoe:
- Michelin soles: since 2003, Babolat has partnered with Michelin to develop tennis, padel and badminton shoes. The company specializing in rubber is therefore developing new materials for Babolat from its center in Ladoux in Puy-de-Dôme. You will therefore be able to find Michelin Prenium DIN20 and Michelin Intermediate DIN35 technologies on Jet Match and Jet Tere shoes;
- Matryx: Matryx fabric is developed in close collaboration by Babolat and Chamatex, a company specializing in high-performance technical fabrics. Matryx fabrics are made in France and composed of very resistant Aramid and Polyamide fibers distributed over certain areas to provide flexibility, support and breathability;
- KPRS-X: EVA foam is inserted under the heel to reduce harshness and provide better shock absorption and cushioning;
- Active Flexion: this technology was patented and developed entirely by Babolat. It allows the sole materials to be segmented into 9 pressure points to provide a more responsive shoe;
- PowerBelt: a strap guarantees better support for the heel and instep, all reinforced by a higher collar to better wrap the foot;
- 360 Insock: The tongue construction is integrated into the shoe, providing a sensation of wrapping the foot and preventing it from moving around when moving.
