THE HISTORY OF THE BRAND
It was in 1949 that Adi Dassler started the Adidas adventure and created the famous brand with three stripes. Known to many athletes for creating legendary equipment, the brand has notably made a name for itself in tennis by creating timeless models such as the Stan Smith. Adidas also sponsors a large number of professional tennis players such as Alexander Zverev, Dominic Thiem, Felix Auger-Aliassime, Garbine Muguruza, Kristina Mladenovic, Angelique Kerber, and Maria Sakkari.
PRIMEGREEN AND PRIMEBLUE
In recent years, Adidas has developed several programs to incorporate recycled waste into their sports shoe models. Through the Primegreen program, Adidas integrates recycled plastics into several major product lines such as the Adidas Ubersonic shoes. A second program, Primeblue, has also been developed by Adidas in partnership with Parley For The Oceans to create a high-quality material from plastic waste collected from the ocean. The Primeblue material is used in shoes and many clothing items produced by Adidas. The three-stripe brand has also committed to using only recycled plastics in its products by 2024.
ADIDAS TENNIS SHOES
Adidas is appreciated by tennis players for its various ranges of tennis shoes designed for both leisure and competition. The brand incorporates a large number of technologies into its models. One of the most famous Adidas technologies is Boost, which has been used in several Adidas shoe models since 2013. It consists of an intermediate sole made up of thousands of expanded particles that work together for better cushioning and a more significant energy return. To improve the durability of its shoes, Adidas has also developed the AdiTuff and AdiWear technologies, which incorporate rubber and anti-abrasive materials. Adidas shoes are available in both all-surface and clay court versions.
ADIDAS UBERSONIC
Worn by Alexander Zverev, Adidas Ubersonic tennis shoes set a benchmark in terms of dynamism. They will be ideal for all players looking for lightness and faster movement on the court. Adidas offers several editions of this range of shoes and notably declines its style for major tournaments, such as the Australian Open or Roland Garros.
ADIDAS BARRICADE
To have maximum support and comfort on the courts, Adidas Barricade tennis shoes are a very good choice.
With the brand new Barricade 13 version, still as stable and resistant, Adidas integrates its latest technologies for optimal performance on the court. Equipped with the Repetitor midsole for support and smooth transitions, an intuitive lacing system, woven eyelets inside for perfect support and the Adiwear outsole offering traction and durability, the Barricade is the ideal ally of all tennis players.
ADIDAS TENNIS APPAREL
Adidas offers a wide range of tennis clothing, many of which benefit from the Primeblue and Primegreen programs. The brand also produces several editions for major tournaments, or around the great tennis players it sponsors. As with their shoes, Adidas integrates several technologies into their clothing in order to improve their performance and meet the needs of players. The best known is certainly HEAT.RDY, which has a fiber that transfers moisture from the skin to the surface of the garment so that it evaporates more quickly, facilitating the evacuation of perspiration.
ADIDAS MEN RANGE
T-shirts, polo shirts, shorts, pants, headbands: you will find a wide range of tennis clothing for men at Adidas that will allow you to create a complete tennis outfit. Many players like Stéfanos Tsitsipás, Alexander Zverev and Dominic Thiem have already adopted the three-stripe brand.
ADIDAS WOMEN RANGE
Skirts, tights, tank tops, t-shirts, jackets: Adidas offers a wide range of women's tennis clothing in different styles to suit the needs of each player. As with their men's clothing, the brand offers several editions in the names of the greatest players and distributes ranges of sportswear clothing as well as very high quality clothing intended for competition.
ADIDAS JUNIOR RANGE
Young players will be able to find a large number of models at Adidas that have nothing to envy of adults in terms of quality and performance. Both boys and girls will therefore be able to flourish in their tennis practice while feeling comfortable in their outfit.
