Power and control
this semi-rigid monofilament offers more control than power. On high-intensity shots, you'll retain control and precision. However, to increase power, you can choose the 1.20 gauge, or even 1.18 for occasional breakers.
Spin
This hexagonal string, as its name suggests, provides excellent ball rotation for lifters who always want more lift in their shots to make their opponents back away from their baseline.
Comfort and forgiveness
Hexablade's polyethylene composition offers a high level of comfort. Nevertheless, it's still a semi-rigid string. As a result, playing comfort is not its greatest asset. To protect your forearm, opt for a thin gauge.
Durability and tension hold
Like many monofilaments of this type, its hexagonal structure makes it very resistant. As for tension hold, it is similar to a classic semi-rigid monofilament.
Sensation / feel / stiffness
During our test, we found the feel to be firm. Ball/string contact time is fairly short for a ball that leaves headsize quickly to surprise your opponents. For occasional breakers, the 1.18 gauge offers a very good feel as well as considerable extra power.

Published Feb 04, 2019 at 10:15 pm (Order date: Jan 25, 2019)bonjour, un retour sur ce cordage que je découvre. bon confort certes mais sur des balles molles et peu rapides, trop souple et on perd en contrôle. les balles sortent ou volent dans les bâches si on veut les accélérer. en revanche sur des balles qui ont de la vitesse, il permet de bien les maîtriser. en fait il faut du rythme pour avoir de bonnes sensation avec ce cordage. peut être il faut monter la tension! tension 25 sur une yonex dr 100 cordialement

Good comfort for sure but on soft and slow balls, too flexible and you lose control. Balls go out or fly into the fences if you want to accelerate them. However, on fast balls, it allows you to control them well. In fact, you need rhythm to have good sensations with this string. Maybe you need to increase the tension!
