This Wilson Ultra 100 V4 racket has an innovative design, with a color that changes from ocean blue to violet depending on the angle of inclination. It offers ease of play thanks to its excellent forgiveness and high power levels. The mold has been reworked for a thinner core and improved ball feel.
Wilson has also incorporated FortyFive technology to improve stability, comfort and feel. This improves the racket's stability by allowing it to bend optimally with each stroke, providing a very supple feel. The racket frame has been hollowed out all along the inside of the head to enlarge the ideal hitting zone ( Sweet Spot Channel technology). The bumper and grommet set and tip are made by Agiplast from a recycled and recyclable plastic polymer.
Powerful and stable, this Ultra 100 has been designed for effortless ball speed and improved feel.
This is the best-selling racket in the Ultra range, thanks to its playability and power. We've strung it with a Solinco Confidential at 23/22, as with the previous version, in order to compare the two versions fairly.
When we first hit the ball, we were surprised by the feel, which was both more direct and softer. For us, this "cocktail" is a great improvement for this new version. As forgiving as ever on off-center hits, we appreciated the easy power to accelerate the ball with ease.
Its 645 cm² headsize coupled with its 16/19 string pattern make it easy to tolerate, but we can still feel better precision on each of our shots.
The 300-gram weight and 32cm balance offer good maneuverability and will be appreciated by players looking for playability and power.
From the baseline, the Wilson Ultra 100 offers two main advantages over its predecessor: ball feel and control/precision. In both respects, the gain is significant and highly appreciable. In terms of pace from the baseline, the racket offers better ball control and, above all, better touch in the short game. It may be criticized for a relative lack of spin for lifters, and you'll have to turn to the Burn range for a better spin.
We recommend the new Ultra 100 v4 to advanced level players looking for a powerful, stable racket for offensive play. It's perfect for players who can cross the ball well.

Weak points:
Racket sold unstrung
Raquettes parfaites pour mon jeu en puissance. Je connais bien le modèle car je jouais déjà avec les anciens modèles.
