Prince tennis rackets: technicality and performance
The Prince brand has been developing tennis equipment since the 1970s. The American brand has been able to count on the support of numerous tennis stars such as the former ATP number 1 Juan Carlos Ferrero or the Bryan brothers, who were for a long time the world's number one doubles players. Most Prince frames are distinguished by their low stiffness index. This is particularly true of models with EXO3 technology. The patented EXO3 technology was introduced by Prince in 2005 and has changed the tennis racket market. The famous rackets with holes, which provide comfort and spin, are still very popular with purists.
The different ranges
Prince frames are available in 4 families:
- The Beast models are focused on power. They are the evolution of the Prince Warrior tennis rackets. These rackets are recommended by the American tennis giant John Isner who plays on the tour with a BEAST 100.
- The Tour range, used during his best season at the top level by the Frenchman Lucas Pouille. These are very versatile frames;
- Phantom rackets, with very thin profiles and offering incredible flexibility and comfort. It is necessary to have a good level of play in order to exploit these control-oriented rackets;
Each range is available in different weights to suit all players: beginners, experts, men and women.
Limited Editions
Each year, Prince offers limited editions or reissues of successful frames. The O3 technology or the brand's glory days with Chang for example, and the classic graphite frames allow Prince to play the vintage card and bring out limited quantities of its flagship products. As for limited editions, Prince has been collaborating with Hydroden since 2021 with the famous Prince Tatoo by Hydrogen. The Chrome and Random limited editions for men / Lady Mary for women followed for our great pleasure.
Technologies
The Exo3 technology system is the reference that brought Prince to their best years. This seemingly original technology optimizes the flexibility of the frame and offers an accentuated spinning action. Indeed, the string being free, the snapback is consequently more important for a better rotation to the ball. The TeXtreme technology has also recently been introduced. This innovation is designed to absorb vibrations on impact by adding aramid fibres that allow for optimised shock filtration while maintaining stability. The TeXtreme is regularly improved to offer the best performance and guarantee better control of your shots.
