Description
Reel Dunlop Black Widow
The Dunlop Black Widow string is a rigid monofilament with a heptagonal shape that offers maximum control and power spin while providing a good compromise between control and power.
Our test of the Dunlop Black Widow string
At first glance, the string's sharp edges suggest a strong ball grip. What's more, from the very first strokes, you feel a very good spin as well as good control.
We found the string to be firm with a lack of forgiveness, but comfortably firm.
On explosive shots, the string offers a very good reserve of power while maintaining control. This parameter is highly appreciated, as it allows you to release your shots with a perfect blend of power/control and spin.
The Dunlop Black Widow provides a wide range of striking parameters. Consistent on strikes, we wanted to know how it would react "as it ages", and the verdict was also very positive.
Consistent, no sudden drop in control, still very good spin and still very comfortable!
Finally, this reference is a high-performance string offering excellent overall performance. As a result, you'll enjoy a very good spin, very good control combined with a good reserve of power while remaining comfortable. The icing on the cake is tension hold, its excellent performance over time at a very aggressive price. An excellent choice and a string worth testing!
Who should choose Black Widow?
We recommend it to players looking for a string that offers control, spin and a good reserve of power when you commit to your shots. It's ideal for lifters who like to hit the ball hard.
