X-Compare

X-Compare: laboratory measurements, our own rating scale.

X-Compare ratings start from physical measurements: dwell time, energy return, tension loss, string-on-string friction and more. Our own scale turns them into 6 criteria, each rated out of 100. Every string goes through the same grid, which makes for fair comparisons.

Description

Kirschbaum Max Power string

Kirschbaum Max Power is a monofilament string designed to provide an excellent compromise between power and control. At the manufacturing stage, Kirschbaum Max Power is pre-tensioned to improve its tension hold performance over time.

The spin is recessed, so you'll need to go for the Max Power Rough if you play a lift-based game.

We recommend this string for players looking for power and feel with a slightly firm feel.

String that stretches very little during installation, holds tension very well. Remains comfortable even at high tension. At equivalent gauge, more powerful than a Solinco Hyper-G. (Translated review)
