X-Compare

X-Compare: laboratory measurements, our own rating scale.

X-Compare ratings start from physical measurements: dwell time, energy return, tension loss, string-on-string friction and more. Our own scale turns them into 6 criteria, each rated out of 100. Every string goes through the same grid, which makes for fair comparisons.

Description

Reel Luxilon Original Rough

The Luxilon Original Rough string is a monofilament with a rough texture that gives the ball more spin and therefore more weight.

Like the classic version, it offers a good balance between control and power. However, it is a little softer, so we had a slight gain in power but especially in spin.

We recommend this string to players looking for more spin in their game, with a good balance of power and control.
