Power and control

This string is a little softer than the Polyplasma. As a result, you'll get more power. As a result, this string offers an excellent compromise between control and power

Spin

Hyperion is a round string that limits ball rotation. Nonetheless, its elasticity counterbalances this observation and allows limited access to effects.

Comfort and forgiveness

Compared with Polyplasma, Hyperion is softer and therefore more comfortable for the forearm. To enhance this comfort, don't hesitate to go for the 1.18 gauge if you're not a regular breaker. Tolerance is also better on finer gauges.

Service life and tension hold

tension hold is pretty good. In fact, its molecular design ensures that tension is maintained over time. In addition, service life is standard for a monofilament of this type.

Sensation / feel / stiffness

Note that this string is semi-rigid. As a result, the feel on strike is fairly firm, but the feel for heavy hitters is not outdone. For optimized feel, opt for the gauge 1.18.

Tip Extreme Tennis:

Don't hesitate to lower the tension by 1 kilo compared with a co-polyester string, because of its stiffness. You can lay this set on any type of set surface. On closed 18x20 strings, for example, feel free to reduce the tension by 2 kilos if you're not a heavy hitter.

WHO SHOULD USE THE SIGNUM PRO HYPERION?

We recommend this reference to players looking for an excellent compromise between control and power, with the emphasis on control. Flat hitters will be delighted with this round-structured reference.

The Hyperion is designed for technically gifted long hitters who like to keep their shots as precise as possible. Attackers who like to finish points on the fly and are therefore looking for touch can also opt for this reference.

Where does the Hyperion string fit in the Signum Pro range?

This string is on a par with a Polyplasma, although the Hyperion is a little softer and therefore offers more power. In short, it offers an excellent compromise between control and power compared with Polyplasma. Also, comfort is more present on the Hyperion than on the Polyplasma.
