Description

Reel Tecnifibre NRG²

Tecnifibre NRG² is the multifilament string with the most Elastyl fiber. This material provides explosive power on every stroke, as well as unrivalled comfort.

Our string test Tecnifibre NRG²

During the first few hours of play, we appreciated the easy power of this string.

However, control is not its best quality.

Ball/string contact time is fairly long, and the feel is soft for a multifilament string.

Comfort is one of this string's strong points, with softness present on every stroke. Even on off-center hits, the ball goes quickly without any unpleasant vibrations.

As for spin, this Tecnifibre string is in the low-medium range. In fact, it doesn't print much spin.

The 1.24 gauge will deliver plenty of power at the expense of control. Whereas the 1.32 gauge will give you more resistance and control (but the string will still be very powerful)!

Who should use NRG²?

We recommend the Tecnifibre NRG² string to players who like flexibility in a string and maximum power and comfort in their game. For the best racket/string compromise, we recommend you use it on control-oriented rackets strings.

For what type of game?

Suitable for a wide range of players, from defenders to attackers. However, the power of this string is greatly appreciated by defenders and counter-attackers. It's clearly not for the lifter, but will be ideal for a hard-hitting flat game!

Where does the Tecnifibre NRG² string fit into the Tecnifibre range?

This is the string with the most power. If you want a string that offers a little more control while remaining power-dominant, we recommend the Tecnifibre X One Biphase string.
