X-Compare: laboratory measurements, our own rating scale.

X-Compare ratings start from physical measurements: dwell time, energy return, tension loss, string-on-string friction and more. Our own scale turns them into 6 criteria, each rated out of 100. Every string goes through the same grid, which makes for fair comparisons.

Description

String Weisscannon Turbo Twist

The Weisscannon Turbotwist string is a flexible twisted monofilament that enhances power and ball grip. As its name suggests, TurboTwist delivers high ball speed and spin. Its suppleness makes it extremely comfortable.

We appreciated the comfort of ball impact, the spin reproduction and the good compromise between control and power.

Dry but comfortable, good compromise of power, control, spin. Installed on a Pure Drive in gauge 1.24 at 24/23 kg. A preference nonetheless for the Weisscannon Scorpion 1.22 which is much more comfortable. (Translated review)
