The Weisscannon Ultra Cable is a square-sliced monofilament (the edges are strongly marked) which increases spin pick-up tenfold and greatly optimizes control. Weisscannon chose to develop it in a 1.23 gauge in medium stiffness, i.e. semi-stiff.

On our first strokes, we felt a very strong spin grip and very present control, yet comfort was very good. The Weisscannon Ultra Cable string is semi-rigid, which is a good thing in view of the control it provides. The mix between control and comfort is perfectly balanced and mastered. The tension hold and resistance are well above average.

Weisscannon Ultra Cable is a top-quality monofilament string that is ideal for lifters who like to hit the ball. The string's response is excellent. We strongly recommend lowering the tension to between 1 and 2 kilos compared with your usual monofilament.
