Yonex Vibration Stopper 5 Green x 2 Dampeners

Yonex's Vibration Stopper 5 in light green, as a pair

The Vibration Stopper 5 is Yonex's own dampener. This pack contains two translucent light green dampeners with a white Yonex logo: one for your racket and a spare for your bag.

Who is it for?

Any player who finds the impact too harsh or the string sound too metallic and wants to soften it without losing feedback from the ball.

What you need to know

• 3D shape: its volume covers a larger area of the string bed to filter vibrations more effectively.
• Feel preserved: it softens string vibration without muting all sensation at impact.
• Secure fit: it sits between the main strings at the bottom of the string bed and stays in place shot after shot.
• Colour: translucent light green with a white Yonex logo.
• Pack: 2 dampeners.

The Extreme Tennis team's verdict

One of our favourite dampeners: the 3D shape is more than cosmetic, it calms the strings well without making the shot feel dead. Sold as a pair, it is great value, and the light green adds a bright touch of colour to your racket.
