X-Compare

X-Compare: laboratory measurements, our own rating scale.

X-Compare ratings start from physical measurements: dwell time, energy return, tension loss, string-on-string friction and more. Our own scale turns them into 6 criteria, each rated out of 100. Every string goes through the same grid, which makes for fair comparisons.

Description

String Yonex Rexis Comfort

The Yonex Rexis Comfort string is a premium multifilament developed to provide a perfect combination of power, feel and comfort. Thanks to a new production process, FORTIMO flexible material, and plasma bonding, this string gains in comfort and repulsion.

Our test of the Yonex Rexis Comfort string

Yonex has pulled out all the stops in developing an extremely high-quality string. The impact is very soft, almost mellow in the good sense of the word. The ball leaves the string fairly quickly, giving us great ball speed. The feel is remarkable for a multifilament. We were able to distill a few well-felt bumps thanks to this exceptional string.

This is a very forgiving string, because on off-center shots, no bad vibrations were felt in the forearm. We know that Yonex is a technology enthusiast, and this Rexis Comfort demonstrates the brand's Japanese know-how.

WHAT IS THE REXIS COMFORT DESIGNED FOR?

It's suitable for a wide range of players, but more particularly for demanding players looking for a powerful, comfortable multifilament with excellent ball feel.
