Head Sonic Pro White 200m Reel

Reel Head Sonic Pro White

The Head Sonic Pro string is a soft, comfortable monofilament that provides maximum comfort and power on every shot.

Particularly forgiving on off-center hits, it is one of the brand's most comfortable monofilaments Head.

Reactive on both big and small shots, it brings extra confidence to your game.

Our test of the Head Sonic Pro string

When we first put the string on, we felt it was very soft, so we expected a powerful string.

On the court, this proves true, as we can feel the trampoline effect of the Head Sonic Pro string as it catapults the ball. Power is the watchword for this string, which is also extremely comfortable. On off-center hits, it performs wonderfully and offers a very even response.

Control, however, is not its strong point. Effects pickup is also a weak point, as we didn't generate a huge number of effects.

The effective lifespan of the Sonic Pro is about average for monofilaments. After several hours of play, we felt a loss of feel.

It's a string that excels on rackets control or closed string patterns.

Who should use the Sonic Pro?

We recommend this string to players looking for power, comfort and forgiveness. If you like this string but find it lacking in ball grip, we recommend you try the Head Sonic Pro Edge to get rid of this flaw. If you're a flat-hitter who likes a responsive feel, you'll be delighted!

For what type of game?

Ideally, this string will suit players who lack power in their game. Defenders should therefore appreciate this string.

It can also be used by baseline hitters who want to optimize ball speed on their less forgiving rackets.

Where does Head Sonic Pro rank in the Head range?

It's clearly the most powerful monofilament in the entire Head string range.
