X-Compare

X-Compare: laboratory measurements, our own rating scale.

X-Compare ratings start from physical measurements: dwell time, energy return, tension loss, string-on-string friction and more. Our own scale turns them into 6 criteria, each rated out of 100. Every string goes through the same grid, which makes for fair comparisons.

Description

Reel L-Tec 4ST Grey 100m

A real surprise when it was first launched, the 4ST string remains a benchmark in terms of comfort and power. The string is a copolymer with a pentagonal profile and a textured surface, giving the ball plenty of spin.

The result is a muted ball-strike that's devilishly effective at setting the pace in rallies. Careful installation of the 4ST is highly recommended to maintain a good tension hold throughout the life of this string.
