The Wilson Rush Tour 5 CTC carries over the full structure of the Rush Tour 5, the most stable shoe in the Wilson range, and dresses it in the white and red codes of the City Tennis Collection. An all-court shoe built for the player who loads hard on every change of direction.

Who is this shoe for?

The regular to intensive player, the one who plays several times a week and wears shoes out on the sides. The fit is standard in width and the weight sits in the middle of the category. Sizes run from EU 40 to 46 2/3 with third-size increments, which helps a lot when you fall between two sizes.

The technologies explained

• Dual Axis Speed Carbon chassis: a carbon fibre plate built into the sole, locking the foot down laterally on hard stops and changes of direction.
• 4D Flex Carbon with FORTYFIVE technology: a carbon weave reinforced by a TPU frame, inspired by racket construction, for propulsion and lateral support under load.
• EndoFit support and Ceramic 5D reinforcement: a full internal sock through the midfoot, plus a light ceramic overlay that protects the shoe through slides and hard braking.

The Rush Tour 5 is the most stable shoe in the Wilson range, and the CTC version changes nothing technically: only the colourway moves on. This is a shoe for a player who loads the outside edge, not a light shoe for covering ground. The twin carbon layers, the EndoFit sock and the Duralast compound make it a durable choice on hard courts that eat outsoles, and the Gammaweave upper stays breathable despite all that reinforcement. White does ask for a little more cleaning on clay than a dark colourway, so factor that in if you play mostly on the red stuff.
