Pro Kennex Turbo Orange Racket

The Pro Kennex Turbo Orange, a round racket built for precision

With the Turbo, Pro Kennex offers a round, large-headed racket that is easy to pick up. At 365 g, our X-Compare measurements rank it very high for control, above its lighter sibling the Turbo Speed, with slightly more power. The orange colourway gives it a lively look.

Who is this racket for?

Beginners and intermediate players who want to place the ball precisely and build the point. Manoeuvrability and forgiveness are good, comfort is decent, with a slightly firmer feel than the Turbo Speed. Pro Kennex announces a fairly neutral balance, but our measurement places it towards the head. Ball exit is moderate and spin limited: this is a precision racket, not a power or spin one.

The technologies explained

• Spiral Tech Carbon: three layers combining Spiral Tech graphite, high-modulus graphite and Nano Epoxy resin, for a stable frame that serves precision.
• Soft EVA 16: a soft core for a gentle feel.
• Large head (77 in²): a generous surface that makes contact easier.
• Smooth face: the brand highlights its variable hole diameters for spin, but measured spin remains limited.
• 38 mm profile and free racket cover.

The Extreme Tennis team's verdict

The Turbo is the most precise racket in this Pro Kennex range: an excellent choice for players who win points through consistency. For more comfort and hand speed, the 355 g Turbo Speed is more versatile. The Turbo is also available in green.
