Description

The Pro Kennex Turbo Green, control from a round racket

The Turbo is Pro Kennex's precision racket: a round shape, a large head and 365 g. Our X-Compare measurements rank it very high for control, above the Turbo Speed, with slightly more power. The green colourway gives it a fresh, understated look.

Who is this racket for?

Beginners and intermediate players who prefer placing the ball to hitting hard. Manoeuvrability and forgiveness are good, comfort is decent, with a slightly firmer feel than the Turbo Speed. Pro Kennex announces a fairly neutral balance; our measurement places it towards the head. Moderate ball exit and limited spin: a consistency racket first and foremost.

The technologies explained

  • Spiral Tech Carbon: three layers combining Spiral Tech graphite, high-modulus graphite and Nano Epoxy resin, for a stable, precise frame.
  • Soft EVA 16: a soft core for a gentle feel.
  • Large head (77 in²): a generous hitting surface.
  • Smooth face: despite the variable hole diameters highlighted by the brand, measured spin remains limited.
  • 38 mm profile and free racket cover.

The Extreme Tennis team's verdict

The Turbo is the most precise racket in this Pro Kennex range, ideal for a consistency-based game. The 355 g Turbo Speed is more manoeuvrable and comfortable. The Turbo is also available in orange.
