Still In Black X8 is the most control-oriented model in the X range. Like the X10 and X12, it is a 100% polyamide monofilament made near Lyon, developed with a world-leading polyamide monofilament specialist and built on Dual Dynamics® technology. The series aims to deliver real comfort while keeping the control feel of a polyester monofilament.

Dual Dynamics®: a cushioning core, a returning skin

The string's core cushions impact and absorbs vibrations. The elastic outer skin stores energy and releases it at contact. The result is a plush feel, good forgiveness and reduced shock, well beyond what even the softest co-polyesters offer.

X8, X10 or X12?

The range runs from most control to most power: X8, then X10, then X12. The X8 is therefore the firmest and most precise version, for players who want polyamide comfort without losing control of depth. Those after more easy power should look at the X10 or X12.

Which players is it for?

X8 suits multifilament players looking for more control, and polyester users with low breakage rates who want to protect their arm. Like the whole range, its breakage resistance is limited compared with a co-polyester: frequent breakers can use it in a hybrid, in the crosses.
