Description

The Head Extreme MP 2026, explosive spin in an all-court frame

The Head Extreme MP 2026 is the heart of the range and its most versatile model: 300 g unstrung, a 645 cm² head and a beam rising to 26 mm that delivers power without effort. It is the safe pick of the series, comfortable anywhere on court.

Who is this racquet for?

It suits the intermediate to advanced player who wants easy power and excellent directional control, without moving to a frame as demanding as the Pro. With a 32 cm balance and 300 g, it stays manoeuvrable at the net while keeping enough mass to hold the rally from the baseline.

The technologies explained

  • Hy-Bor : this aerospace material reinforces the shaft and produces a noticeably more solid, livelier impact than the 2024 model, the main criticism aimed at the previous generation.
  • Auxetic 2.0 : real-time feedback at impact, for a clearer connection to the ball.
  • Spin Grommets : grommets that let the strings move freely and snap back, the engine behind the range's topspin.
  • 23/26/21 mm beam : the wider section through the hitting zone speeds up energy transfer and makes power accessible.

The Extreme Tennis team's view

If you had to keep only one model from the Extreme 2026 range, this would be it. The move to Hy-Bor mostly changes the feel: where the 2024 could seem muted, the MP returns a crisp, readable impact, and that is exactly what the old one lacked. It keeps the purpose of the series, heavy topspin from the baseline, with an ease the Pro does not offer.
