The Yonex Poly Tour Spin string is a pentagonal monofilament.

The edges of this string provide excellent ball grip. The string's firm, muffled feel on strike provides plenty of ball control. Although we have a rather stiff string, the comfort of play seems to satisfy these users.

Power therefore takes a back seat.

This string is available in blue or pink, and only in 1.25 gauge so as not to compromise speed too much.

Our test of the Yonex Poly Tour Spin string

Tests on this string have shown that it does indeed offer great control and ball grip. This spin string is well above average and offers plenty of ball heaviness. On this Spin version, power is secondary. However, we were blown away by the comfort of play, which is pleasant for a rigid monofilament string.

As for tension hold, it's pretty good. On the other hand, when you're overloaded, the string lacks a little tolerance.

    Semi-rigid string that provides control and spin as described (slice for me). Also comfortable on a Pure Drive at 24 kg (manual machine). Undeniably brings control and feel to a frame not very renowned for that. It takes a few hours of 'break-in' but I don't hit very hard. Worth trying. (Translated review)
