Yonex Percept: the best in precision and feel
This range of rackets is designed for players looking for control and feel when hitting the ball. You'll get an excellent feel for every stroke, thanks to technologies that effectively reduce unwanted vibrations while allowing essential ones to pass through. In this way, feedback is optimized for every strike.
Which Yonex Percept racquet should I choose?
For powerful players looking for the best possible precision, we recommend the Percept 97 or 97L. As the 97L is lighter, it will suit players who want to maximize the racket's maneuverability. For powerful players looking for control and forgiveness, we recommend the Yonex Percept 100 or Percept 100L. The 100L version offers more maneuverability but less power than the 100 version.
Range technologies
Technology has been at the service of Yonex tennis rackets for years. Here are the main ones:
- SERVO FILTER: this technology effectively reduces unwanted vibrations, allowing only the good ones to pass through.
- FLEXCON SYSTEM: technology providing 15% more flexibility on the racket handle.
- 2G NAMD FLEX FORCE: highly elastic graphite allows the racket to flex and snap back into place more quickly for more power without sacrificing control.
- STIFF RACQUET FACE DESIGN: More layers of graphite are used to increase the racket's rigidity for up to 3% more stability than control-oriented models. The result is greater consistency in ball trajectory.
Which strings to use on a Percept?
When choosing a tennis racket, it's important to choose the right strings. This range of Yonex Percept rackets works very well with soft or semi-firm strings to get the best possible performance. In terms of tension, we advise you not to exceed 23 kilos on a monofilament and not to exceed 25 kilos on a multifilament.
