The Bullpadel XPLO 02 Comfort 27, explosive power made comfortable

The Bullpadel XPLO 02 Comfort 27 takes the geometric platform of the XPLO, the most radical pala in the Bullpadel Lab range, and softens it so it stays playable for longer. The same attacking intent and the same mass behind the ball, but a noticeably gentler feel.

Who is this racket for?

The advanced attacking player looking for power without the dry feel of all-carbon models. At 360 to 370 g, with a 38 mm profile, a 535 cm² hitting surface and a balance we measure at 27.5 cm, it stays head-heavy: the Comfort name refers to the feel and the damping, not to the handling.

The technologies explained

• Xplo Core²: a continuous structure from the handle to the top of the frame, with a vertical pillar and a hexagonal tube thickened by 3 mm that limits torsion and energy loss at impact.
• Fibrix faces: flexible glass fibres combined with rigid carbon, for a more comfortable feel without giving up power.
• MultiEVA core: three EVA layers of different densities, firm on the outside for heavy hitting, softer in the middle for tolerance.
• Wave System: a deliberately more flexible upper frame that creates a catapult effect on slower balls and in defence.
• Air Power: a widened air channel in the lower side area, reducing drag and speeding up the swing.

The Extreme Tennis team's view

This is the most comfortable pala we have measured in the Bullpadel range, by a clear margin. Switching to Fibrix completely changes the feel at impact compared with the carbon XPLO 02, and the ball comes off the face with a rare ease for a diamond shape. Do not misread the word Comfort, though: with a 27.5 cm balance the mass stays in the head and the frame asks for a strong arm over time. It is also the less precise of the two XPLO models. The Custom Weight system lets you load the head again if you want the carbon version's edge back.
