Description
Nox ML10 Ventus Control 3K 2027: Miguel Lamperti's manoeuvrable control racket
Recognised by Testea Pádel, the lab of the Polytechnic University of Valencia, as one of the best control rackets, the ML10 Ventus Control 3K 2027 from Nox bears Miguel Lamperti's signature. Round shape, low balance, 3K carbon faces and an HR3 Black EVA core: our measurements confirm very good control and, above all, make it the most manoeuvrable racket in our Nox 2027 selection.
Who is it for?
Advanced players who rely on placement, hand speed and consistency. Very quick in hand thanks to its low balance, it stays tolerant on off-centre hits and offers decent comfort. Nox also credits it with punch on smashes thanks to its dense rubber; in our measurements, power is actually one of its weak points, with a modest ball exit. Weight: 360 to 375 g, stated feel medium-hard.
The technologies explained
- Carbon 3K: carbon fibre threads woven in small squares, for a stiff, precise face.
- HR3 Black EVA: a high-density black rubber with strong memory effect, for a firm feel and a predictable response.
- VCS: an elastomer bonded inside the handle that filters vibrations; Nox claims up to 56% less felt impact than the previous version. Completed by the Pulse System and Custom Grip.
- Weight Balance: interchangeable 2 and 4 g counterweights, up to 8 g, to add head inertia if needed.
- Dual Spin, EOS Tunnel and Dynamic Composite Structure: textured faces for spin, side perforations for aerodynamics, and a frame extended up to 4 cm into the face against cracks.
The Extreme Tennis team's verdict
Far from a demanding racket, the ML10 Ventus Control 3K is one of the easiest Ventus to live with: the most manoeuvrable, tolerant and precise, with very good spin grip. Its real trade-off is power: you will have to generate it yourself, or add counterweights at the head. For even more control, the Ventus Control 12K 2027 is the benchmark of the range.
