Frequently asked questions

Is the Mono-Sock bootie hard to put on?
It surprises you the first time, because there is no tongue to pull aside: the foot goes in through an elastic opening and the laces then close everything down. Two or three fittings and it becomes second nature. If you have a high instep, loosen the laces completely before putting the shoe on.

How does it fit?
The sheets list a standard fit across the range, so take your usual size. The bootie wraps without squeezing, which feels more snug than a tongued model without the volume actually being smaller.

Does it last?
Better than a shoe built for speed, and unsurprisingly so: the Aharplus outsole resists abrasion and the PGuard reinforcement covers the toe and the inside of the foot, exactly where a tennis shoe dies. How long it really lasts depends on your surface, your volume of play and how much you drag the back foot on serve.
