Yonex VCore Alpha 2026 Tennis Racket (275g)

Yonex VCORE Alpha Racket: Engineered for Spin and Precision Manoeuvrability

Weighing 275 grams with a 330 mm balance point, the VCore Alpha excels in playability and lightweight performance. Its aerodynamic design facilitates rapid movements, enabling players to accelerate the racket head effectively without excessive physical exertion. The 100 in² (645 cm²) head size, integrated with Yonex's renowned ISOMETRIC shape, expands the sweet spot by 7%, ensuring enhanced forgiveness and consistent energy return even on off-centre shots.

To maximise spin potential, this model features an exceptionally open 16x18 string pattern, complemented by Aero Trench and Liner Tech. These technologies optimise string movement and reduce air resistance, promoting faster racket head speed. Furthermore, joint comfort is prioritised through the synergistic combination of Servo Filter and VDM (Vibration Dampening Mesh), high-performance filters engineered to absorb intense shocks, providing a pure and comfortable ball feel.

Player Profile Suitability

The Yonex VCore Alpha is specifically designed for intermediate club players, female athletes, and junior players transitioning to their first adult-sized frame. It represents an ideal instrument for individuals seeking a lightweight, robust model capable of generating substantial topspin while maintaining superior comfort during extended matches.

Expert Assessment: The Alpha model serves as an excellent alternative to more demanding competition frames. Integrated Technologies & Key Features

• ISOMETRIC: Yonex's unique square-shaped head design, optimising string intersection to expand the sweet spot by 7%, thereby enhancing both forgiveness and control.
• Aero Trench: An innovative groove design that conceals grommets at the frame's top, reducing air resistance and increasing racket head speed for superior spin generation.
• Liner Tech: Straight string grommet holes that allow for greater string movement, accentuating spin production even on off-centre impacts.
• VDM (Vibration Dampening Mesh): An elastic mesh integrated around the graphite within the handle to effectively filter vibrations and provide enhanced arm protection.
• Servo Filter: Advanced materials integrated into the high-modulus graphite, resulting in a robust frame, excellent energy return, and a healthier impact feel.
