The Bullpadel XPLO 02 27 is the most radical model in the Pro Line, developed with Martín Di Nenno. Everything about it serves one goal: concentrating mass and stiffness where it counts, so the speed of the swing turns into raw power at impact.

Who is this racket for?

The expert attacking player who strikes cleanly and looks to finish the point quickly. At 360 to 370 g, with a 38 mm profile, a 505 cm² hitting surface and a balance we measure at 27.4 cm, this is a demanding pala: the face is compact and the mass sits high, making it the least manoeuvrable in the XPLO range. In return, it is also the most powerful frame we have measured from Bullpadel.

The technologies explained

• Geometric Shape: the frame widens at the 2 and 10 o'clock positions, increasing the contact area with the ball and the leverage on overheads.
• Geometric Core: a double diagonal reinforcement at the top of the heart plus two structural reinforcements in the arms, limiting twist and flex at impact.
• Hexature and Carbon Tube: a hexagonal tube thickened by 3 mm running around the whole frame, combined with a bidirectional carbon build, for a more direct energy transfer.
• X-Tend carbon faces and a MultiEVA core: a firm, reactive hitting surface, with three EVA densities that keep a little tolerance on slower balls.
• Air Power and Wave System: a widened air channel to cut drag, and controlled flex in the upper frame that helps send the ball back without forcing.

The Extreme Tennis team's view

This is a specialist's pala rather than an all-round one. A 27.4 cm balance, a chassis measured at 84 RA and a hitting surface cut down to 505 cm² concentrate the mass in the head: the return on smashes is huge, but the contact point forgives very little and the frame stays slow to reset. The Ease Vibe dampeners, the Vibradrive system and the Hesacore grip take the edge off the vibration, which matters on a build this rigid. If you are hesitating, the Comfort version of the same range offers a similar attacking behaviour with a far more accessible feel.
