The Bullpadel Neuron 02 27, control ahead of power

The Bullpadel Neuron 02 27 is the balanced version of the Neuron line. Where the Neuron 02 Edge concentrates mass in the head for hitting, this one relies on a hybrid format and a less extreme distribution to stay the most manoeuvrable and the most precise of the three.

Who is this racket for?

The player who runs the rally through placement and depth rather than ball speed. At 360 to 370 g, with a 38 mm profile, a 525 cm² hitting surface and a balance we measure at 26.6 cm, it keeps mass in the head while staying easier to carry than the Edge. The feel, however, remains dry.

The technologies explained

• PrismLock: a faceted frame with prismatic geometry where every edge acts as a continuous reinforcement, removing twist and keeping the response predictable.
• Neuron Core²: a second-generation heart with inverted pentagonal geometry, designed to work directly with the PrismLock frame and channel impact energy.
• HardEVA core: denser outer layers for firm, direct contact, with a softer inner layer that takes the edge off the overall feel.
• X-Tend Carbon 3K faces: a tight weave of 3,000 filaments per strand, for identical properties across the whole face.
• Carbon Tube and Air Power: a bidirectional carbon frame and a widened air channel, for structural firmness without weighing down the swing.

The Extreme Tennis team's view

This is the most balanced of the three Neuron models, and the one that suits the most players. Our own measurements place it as the most precise and the most manoeuvrable in the line: the ball goes where you put it, and the frame resets quickly at the net. It is also the stiffest chassis in the range, and the HardEVA core stays demanding: it will not send the ball back on its own, you have to drive through it. If you want more return on overheads, the Edge version adds a geometric head and more mass up top.
