Nox Equation Hard Advanced 2027 racket
X-Compare
Description
Nox Equation Hard Advanced 2027, the firmer Equation that stays just as comfortable
The hard-core version of Nox's Equation, the Equation Hard Advanced 2027 combines a round shape, a low balance and a high-density HR3 Hard EVA core. Nox claims a firmer feel and more response than the Soft. Our X-Compare measurements show a small gap: the Hard is just as comfortable, very manoeuvrable, with excellent spin and moderate power, almost identical to the Soft. It is only slightly less forgiving.
Who is it for?
Intermediate padel players who prefer a firmer feel at impact without giving up the comfort and ease of a round racket. The low balance makes it light in the hand and quick at the net, and the centred sweet spot keeps it forgiving. Weight: 355 to 365 g.
The technologies explained
- HR3 Hard EVA: a tinted high-density rubber for a firmer feel at impact.
- 3K fibreglass: three-layer faces, comfortable and durable.
- Exclusive Spin: dual rough finish, 3D hexagonal in the centre and sanded around it, for better spin.
- Carbon frame with Dynamic Composite Structure: stiffness and durability, with the frame extending up to 4 cm into the face to smooth the transition between frame and face.
- Anti Vibration System: rubber parts in the frame absorb vibrations. The Smartstrap wrist strap is quick to replace.
The Extreme Tennis team's verdict
Choosing between Soft and Hard is mostly about feel: in our measurements the Hard is neither more powerful nor less comfortable than the Soft, just slightly less forgiving. Pick it if you like a firmer ball at impact. If forgiveness on off-centre hits is your priority, the Equation Soft Advanced 2027 stays a notch ahead. Either way, do not count on it for power: this is a racket for building points.
