X-Compare

X-Compare: our ratings, not the brands'.

Every racket goes through our machines: weight, balance, swingweight, twistweight, stiffness and more. Those readings produce 7 criteria, each rated from 0 to 100. Every model goes through the same method, so you can compare two rackets on a level playing field.

Description

The Siux Electra Elite 2027, power and spin with easy ball exit

At Siux, the Electra range stands for hybrid power: racket-head speed, spin and fast exchanges, with Franco Stupaczuk as ambassador. The Electra Elite 2027 follows this concept with 3K SC Comfort carbon faces, an EVA Mid core and a 3D textured surface, at a claimed 350-365 g.

Who is this racket for?

Advanced players who want depth without forcing. Siux presents the Elite as an Electra with a friendlier response, but our X-Compare measurements tell a different story: it is more powerful than the Electra Pro, with very easy ball exit, slightly more forgiveness and the best spin in the whole collection, tied with the Pro. The brand claims a medium balance; our measurement puts it head-heavy. As a result, manoeuvrability is average and control a notch below the Pro. Comfort remains decent, on a par with the Pro.

The technologies explained

  • 3K SC Comfort carbon: a softer weave than the Pro's, making ball exit easier.
  • EVA Mid: a medium-density core between firmness and energy return.
  • 3D texture surface and satin soft sand finish: relief and grain behind its excellent spin.
  • Carbon fibre frame, red base with dark tones and a large Siux logo.

The Extreme Tennis team's verdict

The Electra Elite is not a softened Electra Pro: it is a more powerful, more head-heavy version that finds depth more easily. For more manoeuvrability and control with the same spin, the Electra Pro is more complete. For maximum power, the Fenix goes further still; for more comfort, the Diablo Pro, the most comfortable and most versatile racket in the range, is the alternative.
