Description

Reel Tecnifibre TGV

The Tecnifibre TGV string is the most comfortable of all our multifilament strings. Ideal for players suffering from tennis elbow, and contrary to its name, this string is more focused on ball control, comfort and feel.

Power, on the other hand, is not as strong (let's just say it's still honest, but doesn't excel in the same way as other strings). A strong point not to be overlooked is its superb tension hold.

For maximum resistance, prefer the 1.40 gauge.

For maximum ball speed, opt for 1.25 gauge.

For the best comfort/resistance/playability ratio, opt for the 1.35 gauge.

OUR TECNIFIBRE TGV TEST

In the field, we really appreciated its high level of comfort: even on off-center hits, we didn't feel any bad vibrations.

In terms of power, we've seen better, but it doesn't excel in this area, and if comfort and power are what you're looking for, you'd be better off with Tecnifibre NRG or Tecnifibre Xone Biphase.

Control, on the other hand, is excellent! The Tecnifibre TGV is not so flexible and provides average stiffness.

The spin is in the low mid-range compared with the competition.

Finally, the Tecnifibre TGV string stands out for its exceptional tension hold. Although it may move after a few hours' play, its tension hold holds up very well over time.

WHO SHOULD USE TECNIFIBRE TGV?

We recommend it to young players looking for a quality multifilament offering maximum control and comfort.

It is also suitable for players prone to forearm tendinitis.

In conclusion, the Tecnfibre TGV string is a premium string offering comfort, control, feel and tension hold for a wide range of players.
