For what type of game?
The Wilson Clash range is designed for the all-round player looking for comfort and feel. It provides excellent versatility between control, touch and power. The Clash revolution is underway thanks to its great flexibility and power. The first advantage of this range is its great flexibility which brings a lot of comfort, but also a great confidence in your shots. The power/control ratio is also well balanced.
Which Wilson Clash racquet should I choose?
There are a number of different Wilson Clash models to suit your game. The Clash Pro at 310 grams offers the most power while the Clash 100 at 295 grams offers more versatility. This makes it ideal for both competitive and club players. The Clash 100L offers more manoeuvrability and therefore ease of play. The Wilson Clash 100UL will be ideal for young players switching to a first adult racquet. The Clash 100UL has an extremely low stiffness rating and provides excellent feel on the ball. The Clash range is one of the most versatile of all tennis rackets.
Clash Technologies
The Wilson Clash tennis racquets feature several technologies:
- Free Flex, a revolutionary technology that allows the racket to bend when hitting thanks to a specific mapping of the fibres. This gives the player more control, but also more power;
- Stable Smart, which improves stability on the ball thanks to a new frame shape.
What string should I use on a Wilson Clash?
The majority of strings are suitable for this range of rackets due to its great versatility. However, if you are looking for more ball speed or spin, then we suggest you visit our strings page and filter on the preferred benefit. Be aware that the Wilson Clash 100 UL should be strung with a multi-filament string to improve comfort. Indeed, the use of a monofilament string on very light rackets would emit harmful vibrations (increased risk of tennis elbow).
Wilson brand equipment
You can store your racket in a Wilson bag to take good care of it. You should also remember to change your grip or overgrip regularly to maintain optimum feel. The use of an anti-vibrator will also help to reduce vibrations. There are 5 ranges of Wilson tennis rackets: Clash, Pro Staff, Blade, Burn and Ultra
